Of course we have been taught to never judge a book by it's cover, but we still tend to read the cover of each other with out reading the full story. Someone is always looking (reading you),may never speak but always have a wondering eye, trying to figure out what isn't seen. So why not give them something magnificent to look at?




Thoughts:
People are like stained-glass windows.They sparkle and shine when the sun is out,but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within. They say black is being blind. I say black is learning to see what is not directly visible.


The Look:
when putting this together, my heart was heavy. I've been on secondlife for well over 5 years going on 6, I rarely open up to anyone rather it be my real life or here in my sl. I honestly do have some serious trust issues which I am working with. Nevertheless with this being the case when someone you love and admire turns out to be among those you brush off your shoulder, there to me, is a major issue. I call this look "Unbothered" this is the 3rd fit which I wore for the 3 round of The Face Competition. I must say this one really was my favorite. When putting this look together I thought of damsel in distress. A woman full of grace, class, trends and while bothered still found a way to look her best. When ask at the final round of The Face Competition, what were my inspirations, I honestly replied with "I have no inspirations, I have no runway looks i wished to copy, I have no blogs I wanted to duplicate, I simple did me and what I love to do." I love creativity, and in my personal opinion looking for inspiration through others is not creativity, creativity in fashion to me, is being able to randomly put an ensemble together with just your thoughts while telling a story through what you are wearing. I personally strive for others to feel what it is I was feeling when I was putting together the look itself. Fashion is more then being trendy, fashion is being outside of the box, fashion is taking chances, fashion is not being afraid to try something others may not like. Another fit worn final round for The Face competition 2014. This was my 3rd outfit for the final round but because sl was being a hard ass, this outfit was worn out of order, lol I totally freaked out but thankfully the pictures were all behind me to show to the judges that this indeed was my 3rd and finally look. When I put this together I WENT FOR CLASSY YET DARING, I FIND THAT THE URBAN COMMUNITY SEEM TO GET DARING CONFUSED WITH SLUTTY, WHEN IN REALITY YOU CAN SHOW OFF BODY WITH OUT LOOKING LIKE YOU ARE FOR SALE. THIS DRESS GAVE ME JUST THE LOOK I WANTED. IT SHOWED JUST ENOUGH WITHOUT GIVING TO MUCH, PAIRED WITH THIS LITTLE JACKET A CUTE SIMPLE BUN AND A FIERCE POSE, I WAS READY AND SET TO GO. The Look:
Many of you may or may not know this but, I haven' t blogged much due to focusing on The Face Competition (which is now completed). YES I AM OFFICIALLY SL's 2014 THE FACE! I logged on today and had a few offline note cards asking that I please blog the outfits I wore during the final round of face competition. I've decided that I will present a post daily until, I successfully blog the ensembles i wore. I will surely blog all fits worn the last day. On another note, I have made a promise to myself to be more humble and thoughtful about the things in which I do, and even say. Anyone that knows me knows, I have a quick temper and slick tongue. with the journey of taking my sl Modeling serious, i HAVE concluded that due to my harsh ways with words, at times I will say less of what i'm thinking directly from my head. (unless of course i am asked for my opinion) Never the less, I must go on record stating that, to anyone whom feels "THE FACE" showed any favors and or "robbed" them of their rightful winnings they are indeed very wrong. Each and every judge gave there own opinion and critique, just as each and every last contestant. For anyone to even imply someone was robbed of anything is extreme and barbarous.
